Carleton’s Office of Student Fellowships provides direct support to students applying for Carleton-funded fellowship opportunities (open only to Carleton students), as well as students preparing applications for national and international fellowship opportunities (which are open to students and alumni of other institutions).
Carleton-funded fellowships (along with internships and other opportunities) support research and other experiences that enrich your Carleton education, help you learn about your interests, and make you a stronger candidate for other opportunities (including jobs and national or international fellowship opportunities). Writing an application for a Carleton-funded fellowship also helps you learn to write strong proposals for other types of funding and opportunities.
National and international fellowships offer Carls support for graduate study; travel; participation in special opportunities; and the chance to make a difference in the world.
